The Department of Community Dentistry (also known as Public Health Dentistry) focuses on the prevention of oral diseases and the promotion of oral health at the population level rather than just the individual level.

Our department organizes regular dental camps, school health programs, and awareness drives in rural and underserved areas. We train our students to become socially responsible dentists who understand the broader determinants of health.
